In light of recent events, this meeting will be hosted virtually through Skype. Stay tuned for more details.
Come join us for the first Quarterly Meeting! We are going to try something different going forward based on your feedback from last year’s conference. Instead of presenting vendors/topics each month, we are will combine several vendors/topics into a single, longer meeting so you get more for your travel time.
Rack59 will be hosting us for our quarterly meeting. You’ll want to use entrance 2B which enters off of W. Reno Ave. There is no cost to attend, and lunch will be provided.
Times may change slightly, but the meeting should start late enough to give plenty of travel time to get there and end early enough to give travel time back.
For this meeting, we have three different presentations for you to enjoy. Be sure to stick around as there will be drawings along the way for various goodies, but you must be present to win. There will also be an extra drawing for those that attend all three presentations.
Norlem will make a presentation on Antivirus:
“Exploring new ways to address the challenges InfoSec teams face while addressing the growing number of advanced threats to Endpoint security. We will examine exciting new techniques and technologies teams can use to effectively prevent, detect, and respond to Endpoint security threats.”
Trey with Ruckus will give discussing Machine Learning and Analytics:
“Proliferating devices and data-intensive applications place ever-increasing demands on wireless networks. High user expectations for great Wi-Fi performance can put pressure on IT teams. But teams often lack the necessary data on network operations and performance to deliver high service levels.
What if you had all the necessary insight into your wireless network, right at your fingertips? What if your networks were smart enough to use Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence to Figure out any problems before they cause an issue with any end-users?
That is exactly what companies are doing with their analytic programs. We are creating platforms that use machine learning to help us proactively troubleshoot your network and give you recommended actions to fix the issues before they become a problem.”
Jim Andrews from the City of Guymon will show how they used GIS to improve the visitor experience at their cemetery.
As an extra, Rack59 has offered to give a tour of their datacenter and campus in general to those interested. Having seen it previously, it is quite impressive.
